The official website responsible for the anime NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a revealed a teaser this Thursday (13), with the aim of providing a preview of episodes 9-12 of the adaptation.

The episodes will air all at once starting July 23rd. Additionally, the four episodes will also air on Japanese channels Tokyo MX, BS11 and Tochigi TV on July 23.
Therefore, the anime premiered on January 7th. The team has postponed episode 4 from January 28th to February 18th. The anime's production committee cited COVID-19 as the reason for this delay. In March, the team postponed episodes 9 and beyond, citing the impact of the rise in COVID-19 infections on their production schedule.
Synopsis
The narrative of NieR:Automata revolves around androids 2B, 9S and A2, who find themselves in a battle to retake a dystopia controlled by machines and infested with powerful mechanical entities. Humanity, in turn, was banished from Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a last-ditch effort to reconquer the planet, the human resistance dispatches a team of android soldiers with the aim of annihilating the invaders. Thus, an ongoing war between machines and androids unfolds, about to reveal a long-forgotten truth about the world.
Therefore, the direction is by Ryouji Masuyama (Blend S, Hello WeGo!) at studio A-1 Pictures , CG by Yuusuke Noma and photography by Toshiaki Aoshima. NieR:Automata was released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2017. Furthermore, Square Enix launched the game on PC in March 2017 and on Xbox One in June 2018.
