Therefore, despite the good news for gamers, the financial report revealed a significant drop in the company's revenue. Overall sales fell by 31.4% year-on-year, totaling 956.2 billion yen (approximately US$6.19 billion) between the first and third quarters of 2025, compared to 1.394 trillion yen (approximately US$9.03 billion) in the same period of 2024.
Operating profit also fell by 46.7%, from 464.4 billion yen (US$3.01 billion) in 2024 to 247.5 billion yen (US$1.6 billion) in 2025. Ordinary profit dropped 42.3%, totaling 327.1 billion yen (US$2.12 billion), while net profit for the quarter decreased by 41.9%, reaching 237.1 billion yen (US$1.53 billion).

Even with the drop in profits, some titles stood out in sales:

- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 5.38 million units
