Nintendo has announced that prices for the Nintendo Switch and its accessories will be adjusted in the United States in the coming days. Starting August 3, 2025, players will notice changes in prices at stores, including official consoles and accessories.

According to Nintendo itself, the adjustments will occur "according to market conditions." However, the Japanese company preferred not to detail which products will have price increases or the exact percentages. What is known so far is that the measure covers the entire Nintendo Switch, including the OLED model, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and peripherals such as controllers and amiibo.

Furthermore, curious products like the Alarmo alarm clock, a collectible item that has become a must-have for many fans, are also included in this new pricing policy. Therefore, those who have been postponing the purchase should prepare themselves.

Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch 2 will not be affected at this time. This is because the console was launched with what is considered the highest price in the brand's history. However, its accessories had price increases announced earlier this year, even before the console's official arrival on the market.

It's still unclear whether the company's recent announcement also signals further price increases for Switch 2 accessories in the future. When asked about the possibility, Nintendo declined to comment, keeping fans on edge.
