It has been announced that Nisekoi will have a second anime season. The adaptation is based on the manga Nisekoi: False Love . According to sources, more information will be available in the monthly editions of Shonen Jump.

The manga that followed the first season continues with Nisekoi, which tells the story of high school student Raku Ichijou, the son of a leader of the Shuei-Gumi yakuza faction, and Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a boss of a rival gang known as the Beehive. They unexpectedly meet when Chitoge jumps off a wall and knees Raku in the face. After she escapes, Raku realizes he's lost the pendant given to him by his childhood sweetheart, with whom he made a secret promise. After discovering that Chitoge is a new transfer student in his class, he forces her to help him search for the pendant. During the search, they begin to dislike each other.
