According to a publication in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen magazine, " Noragami " will get a second season, and the magazine also announced that the staff from the first season will return for the new project.
The direction is handled by Kotaro Tamura (Noragami season one).
The story of the first season revolves around Yato, whose dream is to have a multitude of followers worshipping and praying with him. Unfortunately, his dream is far from becoming a reality since he doesn't even have a single shrine dedicated to him. To make matters worse, the only partner he had who helped him solve people's problems had just quit his job.
In this scenario, Yato encounters Hiyori, a girl who is secretly a fan of martial arts. In their first meeting, Yato is "saved" when Hiyori prevents him from being hit by a truck, but she is hit in his place. From that moment on, Hiyori finds herself caught between two worlds.
