That said, today (August 8th), fans had a surprise: on social media and the website, a countdown titled "Yato Day" began for August 10th, 2024. Of course, this was enough for fans to speculate about the production of the 3rd season of the anime. However, Noragami celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024, with 4 of the 7 projects yet to be revealed.
Synopsis of Noragami:
During his work, Yato meets Hiyori Iki, a girl afflicted by an evil entity known as an Ayakashi. This has transformed her into a half-ayakashi, meaning she can leave her physical body and enter the spirit realm. As a result, Hiyori and Yato form a partnership to help defeat Ayakashi. Throughout the series, Yato, Hiyori, and other characters also encounter other gods and spiritual entities, as well as engage in battles involving their supernatural powers.
The work has gained recognition over the years for its plot and charismatic characters. Nogami had its anime adaptation consisting of only two seasons, both by Studio Bones in 2014. A second season, titled Noragami Aragoto , premiered on October 2, 2015, and had 13 episodes.
