10 Years of Hunter x Hunter

Anime - Hunter x Hunter
Anime – Hunter x Hunter

So, the celebration took place almost a month ago, on October 2nd, so let's remember a little about this work that is considered a true classic to this day:

First, it's worth remembering that Togashi began publishing his manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 1998. The publisher then released the 36th volume in October 2018 in Japan. However, the work has been on hiatus since November 2018 due to health concerns. Thus, today we have a total of 390 chapters, but with no return date set.

On the other hand, the play inspired the first adaptation with 62 episodes in 1999. Later, it inspired a second anime adaptation with 148 episodes, produced by Madhouse and released in October 2011.

So, everyone, who isn't excited for the manga to return? It's unlikely our beloved Togashi will want to draw anything, but let's keep our hopes up. Besides, it's truly nostalgic to be able to write about Gon again, as this work was truly one of the best I've ever seen.

Synopsis

The plot revolves around Gon Freecss, a 12-year-old boy who, upon discovering his father is dead, is determined to find him at all costs. To discover his father's whereabouts, Gon decides to become a Hunter like him. As the story progresses, Gon befriends three other aspiring Hunters: Leorio, Kurapika, and Killua. They will accompany our protagonist in a series of challenges that test his skills, survival, and teamwork.
So, everyone, did you like our nostalgia news of the day? I hope so, so leave a comment, support our blog, and see you next time!
