10 Years of Hunter x Hunter

Anime - Hunter x Hunter
Anime – Hunter x Hunter

So, the celebration took place almost a month ago, on October 2nd, so let's remember a little about this work that is considered a true classic to this day:

First, it's worth remembering that Togashi began publishing his manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 1998. The publisher released the 36th volume in October 2018 in Japan. However, the series has been on hiatus since November 2018 due to concerns about the author's health. Currently, there are a total of 390 chapters, but no return date has been announced.

On the other hand, the play inspired the first adaptation with 62 episodes in 1999. Subsequently, it inspired a second anime adaptation with 148 episodes, produced by Madhouse and released in October 2011.

So guys, who isn't excited for the manga's return? Although it's very unlikely that our beloved Togashi would want to draw something, let's keep our hopes alive. Besides, it's truly nostalgic to be able to write about Gon again, because this work was truly one of the best I've ever seen.

Synopsis

The plot revolves around Gon Freecss, a 12-year-old boy who, upon discovering that his father is not dead, desperately wants to find him. To discover his father's whereabouts, Gon decides to become a hunter like him. As the story progresses, Gon befriends three other aspiring hunters: Leorio, Kurapika, and Killua. They accompany our protagonist through a series of challenges to test his skills, survival, and teamwork.
