20 Years of the Beyblade Anime
So, let's reminisce a bit about the success of this fantastic work created by Takao Aoki. Incidentally, it was created with the intention of promoting sales of toys of the same name, which we all know were a real success, because I know each of you had one when you were a child.
Furthermore, the storyline is very simple, yet exciting and fun. We follow the story of several boys who participate in various battles and championships with their own Beyblades, dreaming of becoming the best in the world and defeating villains along the way. It's also worth remembering our great heroes:

Manga and Anime

The manga volumes of this fantastic work were published in the renowned CoroCoro Comic magazine between 1999 and July 2004! As a result, a total of 14 volumes were compiled by the publisher, distributed worldwide, and marking the beginning of its great success.
On the other hand, the anime adaptation has a total of 3 seasons, each with 51 episodes! The first season was produced by the powerful MadHouse, while the following two were produced by Nihon Animedia. Furthermore, TV Tokyo broadcast the anime from January 2001 to December 2003. Therefore, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the series' official airing on the Japanese channel.
Finally, it's worth mentioning its great movie called Beyblade Fierce Battle, which was released in 2002 and precedes the story of the second season, also serving as the starting point for the final season. Furthermore, it's worth remembering that the anime was broadcast in Brazil by TV Globo.
