According to updates from the official website of the highly anticipated novel , Occultic;Nine by MAGES. and Chiyomaru Shikura ( Steins;Gate ), the premiere will take place on October 8, 2016 in Japan.
The animation was handled by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online), directed by Kyōhei Ishiguro (Lance N' Masques), with Tomoaki Takase leading the character design.
The story follows nine teenagers connected by an occult blog run by a high school student named Yuuta Gamon. Over time, supernatural events begin to occur around them, ultimately leading them to something unimaginable that could change common sense notions about our world.
Occultic;Nine has already been adapted into a game and a manga.
