The anime adaptation of the light novel Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Bouei ( Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord ) has received a new trailer confirming its premiere for January 2026.

Synopsis Okiraku Ryoushu
Van, reincarnated as the fourth son of a marquess family in another world, had always been called a prodigy since childhood, carrying great expectations for his future. But everything changed at age 8, when he awakened an ability considered useless in that world: "production magic" —seen as worthless for a nobleman. Because of this, his own father declared him unworthy and expelled him from home. Thus, Van is sent to govern a small, forgotten village on the fringes of the kingdom. However, the production magic that everyone called a failure hid an extraordinary power: with the right materials, Van could create practically anything .
However, the light novel serialization began in May 2020. Later, it was acquired by Overlap, which began publishing it under its Overlap Novels imprint in September 2021. A manga adaptation illustrated by Maro Aoiro began serialization on Comic Gardo in August 2021.
