In celebration of its 15th anniversary this year, the adaptation “ One Piece ” by author “Eiichiro Oda” received a video revealing the 15 best scenes in the 15 years the anime has been aired. The anime began at the end of October in 1999. Currently the Anime has 669 episodes.
Since its release, One Piece has become the best-selling manga series of all time in Japan and one of the most popular manga series in the world. It is the best-selling manga in the history of Weekly Shōnen Jump2, as well as the most acclaimed title.
In February 2013, Shueisha announced that it had sold 288.8 million volumes of the manga to date; volume 67 set a new record for the largest initial print run of any magazine released in Japan at 4.05 million copies (the previous record was held by volume 65 at 4 million copies). Volume 60 was the first magazine to sell more than 2 million copies in its first week in Japan according to the Oricon ranking.3 One Piece is the best-selling series in the history of manga in Japan.
