The profile @Sandman_AP recovered an old interview with Eiichiro Oda, in which he talks about his health problems. According to the information, in 2022, he spoke about his habit of going a few days without eating and gaining a lot of weight when he returns to his meals. Then the mangaka's medium warned him about his high blood pressure, but Oda didn't consider it a big problem.
“The biggest change since starting One Piece has been my weight. I work out without eating for a few days and then eat everything at once when I'm done, then I gain a lot of weight. My doctor has been warning me about my blood pressure being too high, but I don't think it's a big problem.”
Synopsis:
