The One Piece universe will receive a new anime adaptation next month. On Tuesday, the official website released a new trailer for One Piece Heroines , a project based on the light novel series written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Sayaka Suwa .

New stories focus on the heroines
The preview revealed the theme song “Blue Shining Star,” performed by Aina The End. Furthermore, the anime will feature standalone stories starring female characters from the franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. Among them are Nami, Robin, Vivi , and Perona, exploring previously unseen moments outside the main manga narrative.
The novel series began its publication in One Piece Magazine in 2019. Subsequently, the publisher Shueisha released the first compiled volume in 2021, while the second arrived on the Japanese market in March 2024.
Team and premiere of One Piece Heroines
The anime production of One Piece Heroines is directed by Haruka Kamatani, known for Koisuru One Piece. Character design is by Takashi Kojima, while Momoka Toyoda is writing the scripts. The cast includes Maaya Sakamoto as Miucha and Takehito Koyasu as Lubun.

The anime premieres on July 5, 2026 on Fuji TV with the episode “NAMI”. Finally, for those who follow the One Piece, the adaptation broadens the focus on characters who helped build the franchise's trajectory over the years.
