Netflix has released a new behind-the-scenes video from One Piece , featuring Iñaki Godoy meeting Mayumi Tanaka , the original voice of Monkey D. Luffy in the anime. So, we practically have the meeting of two Luffys.

While Iñaki Godoy was traveling through Japan, he had the opportunity to meet the illustrious Mayumi Tanaka, who has been providing her voice for Luffy since 1999. Godoy shows a lot of excitement and gratitude for meeting the voice actress. Additionally, in Japan, the anime's original voice cast will be responsible for dubbing the live-action series. So Tanaka will also give his voice to Godoy in the Japanese version of One Piece.
Anyway, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji and Emily Rudd as Nami. The series premieres on August 31st on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Since he was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, Luffy decided to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
