One Piece – Manga will take a 1-month break and will finally enter its final arc

The official Twitter for Eiichiro Oda 's One Piece manga has revealed that the series will be taking a month-long break as the author prepares for the 25th anniversary and the series' "final saga."

The manga will take a break in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump from June 27th until the 33rd issue. The series will return in the magazine's 34th issue on July 25th.

Publisher Shueisha published the 27th issue of the magazine on Monday, meaning the manga still has two more chapters before the break begins.

Oda stated in a comment that several months ago several people warned him that this summer would be very difficult due to the premiere of One Piece Film Red in theaters, the manga's 25th anniversary in July, and the end of the Wano arc all coinciding.

These same people suggested that Oda take a break for about a month, but Oda was initially against it, but later said that he really needed some time to prepare, and so he is taking a break.
