Additionally, the company also conveyed a message from the game's producer, Katsuaki Tsuzuki:

Therefore, the DLC takes place after the game's main story. In the DLC, the Straw Hat Gang will return to Memoria, the world of their memories. The video gives a preview of what the character Eneru will look like.

The game One Piece Odyssey was released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on January 13, delayed from the originally planned launch for 2022.

Luffy and the Straw Hat crew then revisit the world of their in-game memories.

Developer ILCA (Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl) is therefore handling the development of the new JRPG, while Bandai Namco Entertainment is in charge of production. Finally, the manga's original creator, Eiichiro Oda, is credited for the original story and character/monster designs. Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of series) is composing the music.
