Every otaku must know that it is very difficult for an anime to get a good live-action adaptation, which is why some One Piece fans doubted the potential of this series. However, Netflix invested a lot in this project to make the best adaptation possible. As a result, the One Piece series accumulated 82% approval from critics and 94% from the public.
Anyway, the main cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji and Emily Rudd as Nami. The manga's creator, Eiichiro Oda, participated in the production of the series as a supervisor alongside executive producers Steven Maeda and Matt Owens. The series is now available on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Since he was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, Luffy decided to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
