Every otaku knows that it's very difficult for an anime to get a good live-action adaptation, which is why some One Piece fans doubted the series' potential. However, Netflix invested heavily in this project to make the best adaptation possible. As a result, the One Piece series has accumulated an 82% approval rating from critics and a 94% approval rating from audiences.
Finally, the series' main cast includes Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Zoro, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, and Emily Rudd as Nami. The manga's creator, Eiichiro Oda, also served as a supervisor, alongside executive producers Steven Maeda and Matt Owens. The series is now available on Netflix.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a rubber body after eating the magical Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). Inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, Luffy decided to become a pirate and set sail across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
