One Piece – Several volumes of the manga have more than 1 million copies sold

The company Oricon reported that the 100th volume of the One Piece manga sold 1.173 million copies in print, ranking first on the company's weekly comics chart for the week from August 30th to September 5th.

The series has ranked 50 consecutive volumes at #1 since Oricon began posting the weekly comics chart in March 2008. It is the only work to release a #1 volume every year in the chart's 14 years of existence.

The first volume of One Piece to be ranked on the chart was the 50th volume, released on June 16, 2008. One Piece is the series with the highest number of millions of volumes sold in print since 2008, above Attack on Titan in second place with 34 volumes, Naruto comes next, occupying third place with 31 volumes.

Author Eiichiro Oda began serializing the One Piece manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump on July 19, 1997.
