We previously reported that those who go to see the movie in theaters will receive a special manga with never-before-seen content. Now it has been announced that One Piece will also have a special anime episode airing on July 16th called “Heart of Gold”.
In the special, the Straw Hat Pirates will meet a mysterious young woman, and together they will set off in search of the legendary island of Arukemi. The antagonist of the special will be called Mad Treasure, and he will be voiced by Shun Oguri.
The One Piece Film Gold movie will be released on July 23rd.
