Ultimately, one of the main reasons for the global success of Japanese anime lies in the hand-drawn panels, which showcase talent and dedication. However, with the advancement of AI, many companies have begun investing in automated solutions—generating concern among the public. Toei, for example, has partnered with publisher Kodansha and Japanese financial institutions to support the technology company Preferred Networks, Inc. , which develops generative AI models.
