My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Check out the news that caught everyone by surprise: One-Punch Man – Anime has a 3rd Season announced ! That's right! According to the official website , the studio, staff, and cast will be announced in the future.

Rumors suggest that a new studio will be animating the third season of One-Punch Man.

Updated: Rumors reveal that Studio Bones (Mob Psycho, My Hero Academia) is responsible for the season. Therefore, I believe we can rest assured regarding the animation, as we all know the studio's competence.

The website states: “ Simultaneously, an image drawn by Osamu Kubota, responsible for the character design of the first and second seasons, is included.

Synopsis:

The plot revolves around Saitama, an ordinary young man who discovers he is a superhero, and goes in search of powerful people to fight, but always ends up defeating them in seconds with a single punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can fight him on equal terms.

The first season premiered in 2015, directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter). The second season premiered in January 2019, containing 12 episodes, animated by JCStaff (Toradora!), and directed by Chikara Sakurai.

Finally, the One Punch Man manga series began in Japan in 2009 and quickly became a phenomenon, reaching 7.9 million views by June 2012.
