Director Shinpei Nagai, responsible for the current 3rd season of the anime One Punch Man, announced his departure from X (formerly Twitter), explaining that the decision was motivated by the toxic behavior of some users.

In his message, Nagai stated that some of his followers have distorted his statements and even misused behind-the-scenes information to generate controversy and profit. "These actions are unacceptable and cannot be ignored," the director wrote.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the hostile environment was harming his mental health and affecting the production team. "I cannot forgive those who tarnish the honor of the team or exploit the creators' efforts to generate hatred," he added.

Nagai confirmed that he will permanently delete his account, including the official Shimpai Nagai profile, and that he does not intend to create new accounts in the future. The director thanked his loyal fans for their support and concluded by saying that "it was a really fun experience."

Meanwhile, fans continue to eagerly await the next episodes of the new season of One Punch Man, which is still in production.
