Synopsis Orb: On the Movements:
The sparks of Renaissance discoveries are only beginning to burn in 15th-century Europe, even as those making the discoveries are burned for their heresy. In Poland, a child prodigy named Rafal is expected to be another great mind in theology, but an encounter with a certain man leads him down the path of heretical truth.
Uoto serialized the manga “Orb: On the Movements of the Earth” in Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 25, 2022. Shogakukan published the eighth and final compiled volume in June 2022.
Finally, the manga won the Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in April. Uoto is the youngest person to win the Grand Prize at 24 years old.
