Oshi ga Budoukan Itte Kuretara Shinu – Manga gets anime

Incredibly, I know more about anime than I watch, but it still serves as a good pastime.

It was announced this Thursday (11) in the July edition of Comic Ryu magazine that Auri Hiaro  's manga , Oshi ga Budoukan Itte Kuretara Shinu , will receive an anime adaptation in 2020. Along with the announcement, a teaser trailer, as well as the anime's visual, were also revealed.

"A girl is obsessed with her favorite idol, the shortest member of an unpopular group, so much so that she says she would die to see her perform at the Budoukan."

Some members of the anime's production team have also been announced, such as: Yuusuke Yamamoto as director, Deko Akao as screenwriter, Tomoyuki Shitaya and Masaru Yonezawa as character designers, and Moe Hyuga as music composer. The studio responsible for the anime is Studio 8-bit.

The manga Oshi ga Budoukan Itte Kuretara Shinu began publication in June 2015 in Comic Ryu, had its 4th compiled volume in May of that year, and was ranked 12th most read by male readers in the "Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" award in Japan.
