Therefore, the live-action series of Oshi no Ko will consist of 8 episodes, which will also be adapted into a film version, scheduled to premiere on December 20, 2024.
Oshi no Ko Synopsis
The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old idol named Ai Hoshino . One day, Hoshino appears at his office, claiming she's pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort. However, the idol refuses; she wants to have both children. Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure will result in his premature death, or so he thought.
The manga Oshi no Ko by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump since April 2020, with its chapters organized into fourteen tankōbon volumes until April 2024. Finally, in Brazil, the manga was licensed for release by Panini Mangás.
