It has finally been announced that the manga Oshi no Ko ( My Star), written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , will be adapted into an anime . The press release confirmed that Doga Kobo Studios is responsible for the production, but no scheduled release date has been revealed.

Synopsis:
The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old idol Ai Hoshin . One day, Hoshin shows up at his office, saying she's pregnant with twins, and her manager tells her to abort the babies. But the idol doesn't want an abortion; she wants to have both children.
Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his premature death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes in the arms of his beloved idol, Gorou discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, 's newborn son ! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that the world of showbiz is full of controversies, where talent doesn't always bring success.
