Oshi no Ko doesn't hold back when it comes to showing the dark reality of content creators and this becomes even more evident in the new episode of the anime. Episode 6 of Oshi no Ko focuses on new character Akane Kurokawa , a young actress trying to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. However, her career went down the drain when she accidentally injured a colleague's face on a reality show. Soon after suffering from online bullying on the internet, Akane goes into a deep depression and thinks about killing herself at the end of the episode.
Then the episode brings contact to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline , a suicide prevention network in the United States. The warning appears in the episode precisely to offer help to viewers who are going through something similar to Akane.
Synopsis:
The story follows a doctor named Gorou , a fan of a 16-year-old “Idol” named Ai Hoshino . But one fine day Hoshino appears at her office, however, saying that she is pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort the babies. But Idol doesn't want to have an abortion, she wants to have both children. Then Gorou promises her a safe birth. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his untimely death, or so he thought. However, upon opening his eyes in his beloved idol's lap, Gorou discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino , the newborn son of Ai! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that the world of showbiz is full of controversy, where talent doesn't always bring success.
Therefore , Akasaka and Yokoyari started the manga in Shueisha 's Salto Jovem in 2020. Furthermore, volume 12 of the manga was published on March 17, 2023 in Japan.
