Otona no Boguya-san gets a 2nd season in January

The anime Otona no Boguya-san, inspired by the manga by Fumi Ayamiya, will get a second season in January 2021.

It was also revealed that the anime will be streamed online on Comicsmart's Ganma! app. The new season will consist of 12 episodes, each lasting 5 minutes.

Synopsis

This fantasy comedy takes place in a world of swords and sorcery. The story begins when a young villager named Kautsu is looking for work and suddenly finds himself hired by an armor shop. But it's not just any armor shop; it's an armor shop for adults! An ecchi comedy showcasing the shopkeeper's perspective on selling sexy armor.

Staff

Junichi Yamamoto is returning to direct the anime at IMAGICA Lab and handle the composition. Other returning members include Kosuke Iwanaga as character designer, Kyashii as onto designer, and Yukio Nagasaki as sound director.

The anime staff launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Fanbeats website for the new season. However, the crowdfunding campaign did not have a specific monetary goal and will end on October 25th. The staff will use the funds raised to offset production costs. Furthermore, rewards for supporters include having their name in the end credits, a set of three promotional posters, and the right to appear in the anime itself.
