The spin-off manga “Oumuro-ke” (The Ōmuro Family), based on Namori's manga “Yuruyuri”, is set to inspire two medium-length films titled “Ōmuro-ke dear sisters” and “Ōmuro-ke dear friends”, scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2024.
The project's website revealed a trailer, visuals, and details about the cast and production team.

The main cast includes Chiwa Saito as the eldest sister Nadeshiko Ōmuro, Emiri Katō as the middle sister Sakurako Ōmuro, and Rina Hidaka as the youngest sister Hanako Ōmuro. All three will reprise their roles from previous anime adaptations of “Yuruyuri”.
The anime will be directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (known for works such as “Nisekoi” and “Monogatari Series Second Season”) at studios Passione and Studio Lings. Masahiro Yokotani (known for works such as “Sakura Quest” and “Free! Eternal Summer”) will be responsible for writing and supervising the scripts. Kazuyuki Ueda will be in charge of character design, and Yūsuke Shirato will compose the music, with musical production credited to Lantis.
Synopsis
Set in Takaoka, Toyama, the series revolves around the daily lives of the Ōmuro sisters, consisting of Hanako, Sakurako, and Nadeshiko; along with the Furutani sisters, Himawari and Kaede, Hanako's classmates Mirai Sōma, Kokoro Ogawa, and Misaki Takasaki, and Nadeshiko's classmates Ai Miwa, Megumi Sonokawa, and Miho Yaeno.
Namori's manga "Oumuro-ke" was originally launched in February 2013 in the Nico Nico Yurihime section of Ichijinsha's Nico Nico Seiga website. It went on temporary hiatus when the Nico Nico Yurihime service was discontinued in 2016.
