Overlord is a Japanese light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin . It began serialization online in 2010 before being acquired by Enterbrain . Fifteen volumes have been published as of July 30, 2012.
In Brazil, the Light Novel (in digital and print versions) and the manga (print) are published by Editora JBC.
Synopsis
Yggdrasil is a popular online game that suddenly has its servers shut down. Momonga, a young player, decides not to log out and is transformed into a skeleton, the Overlord. Having no family, friends, or place in real society, young Momonga decides to fight to dominate the new world the game has become.
