The official website for the racing anime Overtake! has revealed a new trailer that announces its premiere date. The video reveals that the anime will premiere on Japanese television on October 1st.

Therefore, Overtake! is directed by Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero, Aldnoah.Zero) at the animation studio TROYCA. The script is by Ayumi Sekine (IDOLiSH7 franchise, Technoroid Overmind) and the character design is by Takako Shimura (Wandering Son, Aldnoah.Zero).
Synopsis
In the anime's story, freelance photographer Kōya Madoka finds himself at a standstill for a certain reason. He goes to Fuji International Speedway to work on a story and there he meets a high school F4 driver, Haruka Asahina. Suddenly, he feels his heart race after a long time without feeling something like that. Because of this, he begins to support Haruka and the young team "Komaki Motors" to help Haruka achieve his dreams.
