A live-action, adult parody of Chainsaw Man, called Dildo Man, had good Blu-ray sales in Japan. However, the big surprise is that sales of this "+18" parody were higher than sales of the original Chainsaw Man anime.

Check it out:

According to sources, Dildo Man sold 8,600 Blu-ray copies in its debut week in Japan. On the other hand, the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation by Studio MAPPA sold only 1,735 copies in its first week. So, if the news is true, it means that the adult parody of Chainsaw Man sold more than the original anime itself.

Dildo Man was made by the adult film company Studio TMA and premiered on April 28th. The parody follows the same story as Chainsaw Man, but alters several things to create adult and trashy humor. In this story, the protagonist "Chinji" has his head and arms transformed into vibrators and he starts working for a woman named "Bakima".

Synopsis:

The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can make contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to pay off his deceased father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. But Denji also has a small pet demon named Pochita, who assists him in his work.

Therefore, Tatsuki Fujimoto launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes.
