Gamescom Latam 2025, one of the world's largest gaming events, will feature a special Pokémon GO presence. The second edition of the event in Latin America will take place from May 1st to 4th at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, and will include an area dedicated to the franchise. Visitors will be able to enjoy interactive experiences, exclusive in-game challenges, and surprises prepared for the Brazilian audience.

Pokémon GO will feature immersive attractions and exclusive challenges
The Pokémon Area will have a complete structure, including PokéStops for players to recharge their cell phones and themed photo areas. Statues of Team Leaders will also be on display, providing backdrops for fans to capture their visit to the event. In addition, other lines from the franchise, such as the Pokémon Trading Card Game, will have demonstration areas.
Visitors will be able to participate in special activities, including interactions with Team GO Rocket members, who will challenge players to battles in Pokémon GO. There will also be Pokémon Professors available to teach beginners how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, allowing more people to discover the collectible card game.
Within the game, Gamescom attendees will be able to access exclusive content, such as Timed Research, Collection Challenges, and rare Pokémon that will only appear at the event. These dynamics encourage interaction between trainers and make the experience even more immersive.
Michael Steranka will be present, and there will be news for 2025
One of the highlights of the program will be the participation of Michael Steranka, Senior Director of Pokémon GO. On his first visit to Latin America, he will give a special presentation on the evolution of the game and its concept of being "a game to be played forever." During the panel, Steranka will reveal news for 2025 and share exclusive surprises for the Brazilian audience.
