Pokémon franchise YouTube channel released a new video this Wednesday for the Scarlet /Violet .
The video features “ Iono “, the electric gym leader from the Paldea region, who is also a streamer and influencer. In the video, Iono asks the viewer to guess who her Pokémon partner is:
Therefore, both games will launch on Nintendo Switch globally on November 18th.
Pokémon Scarlet/Violet will have three main stories, one of which is the standard eight gym challenges. Therefore, in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, there is no set path for players to visit gyms in any order. There will also be a general “Treasure Hunt” in the new Paldea region.
Additionally, players can ride the new legendary Koraidon and Miraidon as a bicycle to traverse the world. The legendary partner offered will depend on the game version.
The games will introduce a new “ Terastal ” phenomenon, in which Pokémon can become a shiny version of themselves and increase their movement strength. All Pokémon can “Teratallize”. Some Pokémon will change types and have alternate forms to Terastalize. Pikachu becomes a Flying-type with balloons on its back, and Eevee can become other Tera-types in addition to its Normal form.
“Tera Raids” will be available with up to three other players to fight against “Terastallized Pokémon”. In these battles, everyone can attack at the same time. Union Circle also allows for cooperative play outside of Tera Raids.
