Pokkén Tournament is the new game in the Pokémon franchise. The Pokémon Company announced the title today, which is being developed by Tetsuya Harada, creator of Tekken.
The game is being produced by Nintendo and Namco Bandai Games, who are also behind the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Pokkén will feature the traditional 3D arena fighting style and will only be available in arcades – nothing has been said about consoles. There is still no confirmation of a Western release.
In Japan, Pokkén Tournament is scheduled to arrive only in 2015.
