The official website for the anime Pon no Michi (The Way of Pon) revealed this Friday (01) that Hibiku Yamamura will play Haneru Emi, a high school student who takes the game of mahjong very seriously. In addition, the website also revealed new promotional art for the anime.

Synopsis
The anime is set in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, where high school student Nashiko Jippensha has been kicked out of her home. Without a place to play with her friends, she discovers that the mahjong parlor her father ran is empty. She repairs the mahjong parlor and transforms it into a place where she and her friends can have fun, cook, drink tea, and occasionally play mahjong.
