Through the official Twitter account of the anime “Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama” or Prince of Tennis, it was announced that an OVA (original video animation) has been greenlit. The OVA will be a direct continuation of the second season of Prince of Tennis II from 2012. More details will be available soon through Shueisha's and Jump Square magazine.
The original 2012 version is an adaptation of the manga Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama by author Takeshi Konomi, published in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in 2009.
