The Psyren anime has been confirmed to premiere in October 2026 during the AnimeJapan 2026 event. The adaptation of Toshiaki Iwashiro 's manga marks the work's return to audiences, now in a television format produced by Studio Satelight .

The anime is directed by Katsumi Ono , known for his work on Symphogear and Yu-Gi-Oh!. The script is supervised by Shin Yoshida, while the character design is by Akira Okuma. The soundtrack features names like Takashi Omama, Tatsuhiko Saiki, and Shu Kanematsu.

In the main cast, Rikuya Yasuda plays Ageha Yoshina, while Mayuko Kazama voices Sakurako Amamiya. The anime will also feature Shunsuke Takeuchi, Soma Saito, and Yukihiro Nozuyama in important roles.
Synopsis
The story follows Ageha Yoshina, a student who finds a mysterious red calling card. Days later, his childhood friend Sakurako Amamiya disappears. While investigating the case, he becomes involved in a series of disappearances linked to an organization called Psyren.
Psyren is an action and science fiction manga written by Toshiaki Iwashiro and published in Weekly Shonen Jump between 2007 and 2010. The work had 16 collected volumes and received international distribution through Viz Media between 2011 and 2014.
