The third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has received an official release date. The announcement was made during the AnimeJapan 2026, confirming the premiere for July 5, 2026. Additionally, a new promotional video showcased previously unseen scenes focused on the upcoming story arc.
The trailer highlights the so-called "Eris Training Arc," further exploring the character's development. The opening theme will be performed by Yuiko Ohara, with the song "Ketsui no Uta." The series premieres on Japanese TV channels Tokyo MX and BS11.
The anime adapts the light novel written by Rifujin na Magonote, originally published between 2012 and 2015. The work is an isekai fantasy that follows Rudeus Greyrat, a man who reincarnates in another world determined to change his life.
In this new phase, the narrative focuses on the growth of the character Eris, featuring intense training and new interactions. The studio maintains a direct continuity with the events of the second season, which aired between 2023 and 2024.
Expansion of the Mushoku Tensei franchise
Besides the anime, the franchise remains active in other media. The publisher Seven Seas publishes both the novel and the manga and related works. In addition, a new game titled Mushoku Tensei: Chronicle of Echoes will be released later this year.
The RPG will feature 3D battles and has already opened pre-registration. This initiative reinforces the series' presence in the market, expanding its reach beyond television and streaming.
Finally, Mushoku Tensei remains one of the leading works in the modern isekai genre. Keep following AnimeNews for more anime .
