During the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 , new promotional art for the film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Girl . Therefore, the second film in the project, which continues the anime, premieres on December 1st.

The film project aims to adapt the eighth and ninth volumes of the light novel.
Sōichi Masui is returning to direct the project at CloverWorks . Masahiro Yokotani is also returning for composition and scripts, and Satomi Tamura is returning as character designer.
The first Sister Venturing Out premiered in Japan on June 23rd of this year.
