During the Dengeki Bunko 30th anniversary celebration event, held this Sunday (16), a trailer was revealed for “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid”, the second of the two films in the anime continuation project.
Therefore, the trailer announces the release of the film for December 1st of this year.

The film project aims to adapt the eighth and ninth volumes of the light novel.
Sōichi Masui is returning to direct the project at CloverWorks. Masahiro Yokotani is also back for composition and scripts, and Satomi Tamura is returning as character designer.
Voice actors include:
- Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa
- Asami Seto as Mai Sakurajima
- Yurika Kubo as Kaede Azusagawa
- Nao Toyama as Tome Koga
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Rio Futaba
- Maaya Uchida as Nodoka Toyohama
- Inori Minase as Shōko Makinohara
The first film, 'Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out', premiered in Japan on June 23.
