A pleasant surprise for otaku fans, the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ( Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken ) will be getting a third season. The information comes from the series' official Twitter account, which also posted a promotional image.

Synopsis:
The lonely 37-year-old Satoru Mikami is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a thief, he awakens to a new beginning in a fantasy realm…as a slime monster! As he adjusts to his new existence, his escapades with other monsters set off a chain of events that will change his new world forever!
Finally, the series was adapted into an anime in 2020 by Studio 8bit, followed by a second season in 2021. Additionally, a film has been announced for release in Japanese theaters this year.
