Kazuya Kinoshita was heartbroken by Mami Nanami after a brief, month-long courtship. Heartbroken, he resorts to a dating app and ends up meeting Chizuru Mizuhara, an extremely attractive young woman. During one of their dates, Kazuya receives a call informing him that his grandmother, Nagomi Kinoshita, has fainted and is in the hospital. Without a second thought, he takes Chizuru to meet her. Upon seeing Kazuya with a girlfriend, his grandmother is overjoyed, believing he has finally found someone special, something she has always wanted. But to keep her grandmother happy, Chizuru agrees to continue the charade, leading Kazuya to repeatedly rent her to maintain the illusion in front of his family and friends.
