The anime Rich Girl Caretaker (Saijo no Osewa) has released its second promotional video and confirmed a new name for the main cast. The adaptation of the light novel by Yusaku Sakaishi and Sakura Miwabe will premiere on Japanese television in July and has received more details about its production.

A new character enters the story
The main news is the addition of Kentaro Kumagai to the cast, who will voice Katsuya Taisho. The character joins the already announced Yuto Uemura as Itsuki Tomonari and Konomi Kohara as Hinako Konohana, the protagonists of the romantic comedy set in an elite school.
The series premieres on July 4th in Japan and will also be streamed internationally by Crunchyroll in various regions, including South America, Europe, and North America.
Production brings together an experienced team
The anime is being produced by Brains Base studio, known for works such as Natsume's Book of Friends. Shusei Morishita is directing, while Aya Yoshinaga is supervising the scripts. Nao Kawashima is handling the character design.
Musically, the opening theme will be “Sai Sai Saikokyu no Osewa Shite,” performed by angela. The ending theme, “Kanpeki Janai Watashi,” will be sung by Ami Maeshima, who is also part of the cast.

Based on the light novel published by HJ Bunko since 2021, the plot of Rich Girl Caretaker follows Itsuki, a student who secretly begins caring for Hinako, the heiress of a powerful Japanese conglomerate. However, despite her perfect image at school, she hides a dependent personality and lacks the skills for everyday tasks.
