RikeKoi will get a 2nd season

The author of the manga Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no Shoumei Shite Mita (RikeKoi), Alifred Yamamoto , announced on Twitter that the adaptation will get a 2nd season.

Synopsis

Shinya Ukimura and Ayame Himuro are two scientists who want to discover if love can be proven by a scientific theory. However, they also have feelings for each other and want to be able to resolve their feelings through similar theoretical facts. With this perfect opportunity, they will attempt to solve the theory of love they express for each other.

Additionally, the first season premiered in Japan on Amazon Prime Video with all 12 episodes on January 10. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Staff

Toru Kitahata directed the anime at Zero-G , with Kenta Onishi as assistant director and Kouichirou Natsume as chief production supervisor. Rintarou Ikeda ( Tejina-senpai ) supervised the script and wrote it along with Michiko Yokote ( Shirobako ). Yuusuke Isouchi ( One Piece ) did the character designs and was the chief animation director. Hisakuni, Shouichiro Hirata, Kaoru Otsuka, Shuuhei Takahashi, Takuma Sogi, and Yuuko Takahashi composed the soundtrack.

Finally, the author launched the RikeKoi manga on Comic Meteor in 2016. The manga received a 4-episode live-action adaptation in September 2018, and a live-action film premiered in February 2019.
