The video begins by showing her elegant daily life, wearing a mysterious kimono while practicing a tea ceremony . However, in the second act, her serene image gives way to an explosion of fury , where she utters intense phrases like "You conformist pigs!" , revealing an unexpectedly aggressive side.
Therefore, the anime Rock Is a Lady's Modesty will premiere on April 3, 2025, animated by BN Pictures . It is directed by Shinya Murata , with a script by Shougo Yasukawa and character designs by Risa Miyatani .
Synopsis Rock Is a Lady's Modesty:
Ririsa Suzunomiya is a young woman who attends the prestigious Sakura no Kokoro Girls' Academy , a school where only the finest ladies are allowed to study. She is known to all as one of the most exemplary girls and strives to earn the title of "Noble Lady." However, there's a secret: she wasn't born into a noble family, but joined the Suzunomiya family a year ago after her mother's second marriage. To meet her mother's expectations, Ririsa suppresses her true self and hides her long-standing passion for rock music and guitar, trying to behave like a perfect lady. But one day, she encounters Otowa Kurogane, a young woman admired by all, and happens to see her playing the drums.
Finally, the manga is written and illustrated by Hiroshi Fukuda. It has been serialized in Hakusensha's seinen manga magazine, Young Animal, since October 2022.
