Demon Slayer returned this year with its 3rd season, which adapts the Blacksmith Village , and has already become one of the biggest anime of 2023. So many fans must already be eager for the next season, which shouldn't be long in coming. According to the profile @ oecuf0 , the 4th season of the anime is already in production. However, this is just a rumor for now as it doesn't come from an official source.
The 4th season of Demon Slayer might be the anime's last, as only two arcs remain to complete the adaptation of Koyoharu Gotoge . On the other hand, there's also the possibility of a 5th season if the fourth adapts only one arc.
Synopsis:
After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the story, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the demon slayers will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the Upper Moon demons again to stop them.
Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a successful phenomenon with the movie. The second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the movie To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
