A rumor is gaining traction on social media regarding the 3rd season of the anime Fire Force ( Enen no Shouboutai ). Apparently, the new season, confirmed for May 2022, will undergo changes in its staff and animation team.

Therefore, we will have Studio Shaft (Nisemonogatari, Madoka) handling the animation, instead of David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) which handled the previous seasons . The rumor also confirms that the chief director of Gekidan Inu Curry is Kenjirou Okada (Monogatari Series).
Synopsis
The story, set amidst the flames, revolves around young Shinra Kusakabe , a boy with a sinister smile and a dark past who generates fire from his feet and dreams of being a hero. He joins forces with other firefighters who also have the power to control fire!
Finally, author Atsushi Ohkubo ( Soul Eater ) launched the Fire Force manga Kodansha 's Weekly Shounen in September 2015. The series received a 24-episode anime adaptation, produced by David Production studio, which premiered on July 5, 2019, and also secured a second season for July 2020.
Furthermore, the manga came to an end in February 2022.
